Motor control

A focus on motor control in January and February 2022

In January and February 2022, Elektor is focusing on motor control without sacrificing its coverage of other electronics-related topics. We dive into the subject in Elektor Mag, on our website, in our E-Zine and with a webinar.

The market for electric motors is growing rapidly. I am thinking not only of the relatively powerful motors that are used in electric vehicles and two-wheelers, but also of the smaller motors for drones and machine tools such as 3D printers. In January and February 2022, we focus on motor control – not only in the latest edition of Elektor magazine, but also online at and in the Elektor E-Zine. With the typical blend of theory and practice, electronic control of electric motors using integrated H-bridge drivers, stepper motor drivers and other integrated components is emphasized.

Engine Control Web Page

As a guide for all of our readers interested in motor control (and as part of our new approach to highlighting themes for each edition of Elektor), we have created a special web page where you can find links to the latest edition of our magazine and the most interesting thematic articles from our archive. The latest books and boards from our shop are also presented. We all know that we learn the most with our own experiences and projects! Finally, we announce an upcoming Elektor online seminar on engine control, scheduled for February 17, 2022.
